Can bleach eleminate mold?

Toxic mold only needs approximately 72 hours to germinate from the point where water meets a cellulose food source, such as drywall or cardboard. Bleach and other home remedy techniques are only a temporary fix and may lead to more extensive contamination if not handled properly by a certifed mold specialist. 

Can mold cause serious illnesses?

Although most molds do not cause serious illness there are some that produce toxins, and, if ingested through the lungs, eyes or bloodstream, can cause debilitating symptoms and permanent damage.

The most widely known molds that produce toxins are Stachybotrys, Aspergillus/Penicillium, Chaetomium (the precursor to Stachybotrys), Fusarium, Memnoniella and Trichoderma. 

What are the symptoms related to toxic mold exposure?

Some of the most common symptoms related to the exposure of toxic molds are:

  • Upper/Lower respiratory problems
